[APPEARANCE] Tall and thin, Azaria’s face is soft and beautiful. She has green eyes and full lips. Her skin is a soft brown. Azaria usually dresses in flowing shaman tunics, but is often seen in a tee-shirt and jeans when she is not at work.
[PERSONALITY] Azaria will help whomever comes into her clinic. She is kind and caring, and does her best to help those in need. She takes on a maternal role when dealing with her patients, especially with children. When raising the dead, Azaria is just as caring and gentle. However, when threatened, Azaria takes on a fierce persona and can be quite vicious in dealing death.
[HISTORY] Born and bred in the Manhattan part of New York City, Azaria has been surrounded by shamanic healers and necromancy her entire life. Her father was a shaman and her mother was a necromancer. The Noland Medical Centre has been in the Noland bloodline for generations (see ABOUT NOLAND MEDICAL CENTRE for more details). She was schooled in both the shamanic arts and art of raising the dead, as well as a wide knowledge of supernatural beings. At the age of six she witnessed her first raising of the dead, which went horribly wrong and robbed her of her mother. For the next twenty years or so she was raised by her father, looking to him for guidance and the continuing of her learning. She still goes to him for advice when she needs it, and he still occasionally works with her at the Noland Medical Centre.
[OTHER] Azaria is fluent in several languages, in order to communicate with her patients: French, Spanish, Italian, and Russian.

[ABOUT NOLAND MEDICAL CENTRE] To the average person, the clinic appears shabby, rundown, and abandoned. Located on the corner of 42nd and 10th, the Noland Medical Centre’s front windows are broken and dark. Upon first entering, if one decided for whatever reason to enter, one would find themselves in an old and dusty unfurnished room that may once have been a lobby. However, those who know better will know that if they go down the hall to the left they will find themselves in a neat, furnished, and warmly lit lobby. The clinic treats humans and all nightcreatures for any sort of bite or ailment – assuming that it is curable. Noland Medical Centre was started in 1898 by Azaria’s great-great-great grandfather. The property was bought with a loan and has always maintained its shabby and abandoned appearance on the outside, and its comfortable and caring appearance on the inside. There are also several shamanic charms set around the outside and first room of the clinic to dissuade any unknowing creature from coming in. Patients are charged at a minimum and Azaria is willing to make any sort of payment plan; even if it means becoming her secretary to work off your debt, she will gladly arrange so.
[ABOUT AZARIA’S NECROMANCY] Healer by day, necromancer by night, Azaria will help you raise the dead – at a price. And with rules. For one, Azaria will absolutely not raise a corpse which necessitates a human sacrifice. She will also not raise a corpse to fulfill any sort of evil deed. She will, however, raise a corpse to testify in court, to solve a murder, or to say goodbye and bring closure. One seeking her necromancy must have a damned good and noble reason.
